On Wednesday evening, five Zults War teams took Scott Bushy’s Group Power class at the South River Road Courthouse. Afterwards, they got together, cooked some food and ate a clean together. Team Leaders Scott and Whitney got to share their favorite part of the get-together.

“My favorite part of the BBQ. Probably the bonding of all the teams.  It really created a sense of being part of something bigger…..something bigger than your 3 teammates.
It reminded me of high school sports; you know (or don’t know) some of the players on the other teams.  In sports, games are your opportunities to see the players you know and meet the players you don’t know.  This was that opportunity for the Zults teams.

“I loved that, even though Zults is a competition, 5 teams came together to enjoy a workout and good food and to celebrate their successes so far. Yeah, there were some good natured attempts at making other teams eat more food than they should, but it was all in fun. I think everyone understands that each person is involved in Zults to make positive changes in their life and that we’re a community that can encourage each other on that journey.”
