Instagram Inspection With Andrea Zoomz
Andrea is one of the most exciting people you’ll meet. If you get Zults at the Lancaster Courthouse you are fortunate to see her running around often. We dug through her Instagram page and found a few photos we thought deserved a back story.
1. Oh man, Brock cracks me up! Scott and I really enjoy outdoor activities. We were staying in Bend for the weekend with a group of friends and decided to hike up Smith Rock. It was a first time for both Scott and I, so we wanted to get a photo to remember it by. I gave my phone to Brock and said “Hey Brock, can you take our photo?” He said “Heck yeah” and then turned the camera to selfie mode and took a picture of all of us. He did exactly what I asked, but he just didn’t want to be left out!
2. My friends and I will try just about anything, especially if we get to dress up! If it can include a tutu, I’m in! I convinced a group of my friends to do the Electric Run in Portland last year. It was a 5K in the dark with lights and music. Most of my friends do not run, but it turned out that there were sooooo many people there that we had to walk! The part I remember the most was the huge techno concert they had at the end. Everyone got a handful of glow sticks and every time the beat would drop on a song everyone would toss their glow stick in the air. It was so cool!
3. This was at the Color Vibe in Salem last summer. Courthouse was asked to show up and help get people excited. Previously we would bring a tent to this type of event, but that was not cool enough. At Color Vibe we brought a ‘Wheel of Fortune’ wheel and gave away a ton of stuff – we gave out shirts, water bottles, stickers, vitamins, and Clif Bars. We needed something else to get people involved! We got the crazy idea to get a free couch off of Craigslist, spray paint it, and call it our Lifestyle couch. We ended up taking EVERYONE’S pictures on it! Because there was no one from Color Vibe taking pics, everyone though it belonged to the race! It was a huge success and got people to get more involved before and after the race. We have kept it and we are planning on entering it into the Couch Races this summer.
4. Hahahaha! Third Annual Civil War Pie Throwing! Jeff and I have an ongoing bet every year. He is a Beaver fan and I am a Duck fan! Whoever’s team wins the Civil War, they get to chose/make/buy the pie to throw in the face of the loser. This year, AGAIN, the Ducks won, so I bought a pizza baking tray, piled a mountain of pudding on it and then covered it with whip cream. All of our friends come over for this celebration of pie throwing. As you can see, I am also covered in pudding and whip cream! I always get tagged too no matter what! But I hold pie throwing champ 3 years in a row! Woohoo!
5. This is the 5Z fun run we held after this last Zults War. It was designed as a fun event after our Zults program with our teams and also include families. Zults is a 5 week nutrition/exercise challenge through the club. After working so hard for 5 weeks we have to celebrate the success! So we designed a 5K with obstacles. It had an obstacle with sumo wrestlers, carrying an egg on a spoon, hopscotch, badminton, and ended with a crawl through bouncy house. We also hauled our Lifestyle couch out there to take pics on!
