Kick Start: Doug Burton
To the left is Doug Burton and his Kick Start Coach Justin Butler. We asked Doug a few questions about his experience in Kick Start.
1. What got you into Kick Start?
I didn’t know about the program until I came in to join. It seemed like a great way to try all aspects of the Courthouse and see what I liked without the pressure of a year commitment. Also, the Bod Pod gave me exact information to know where I was at and results after working hard for a month.
2. Briefly, what was Kick Start like?
I focused on the Ignite team training. It was great because I haven’t pushed myself that hard for a long time. And I did cardio, weights, and swimming, with relaxing in spa, steam, and sauna. The meal plans gave some great insight although I did not follow it all the way.
3. Do you feel like you are on your way towards a healthier lifestyle? Do you feel like you are more equipped than when you began Kick Start?
Yes, I definitely feel like it was a good experience and I’m living a healthier lifestyle. I most likely will increase my membership to include the Team Training.
4. What was the most surprising/interesting part of the experience?
The staff was always friendly and helpful for whatever I needed.
5. What is the next step in your fitness journey?
Continue with being consistent. No boring workouts, eat clean, and continue on my healthy lifestyle journey.
