At the Courthouse, we do not think small. We do not think in terms of just a few pounds or a couple of inches. There is more to life than that. Don’t stop at just healthy. Imagine fitness.
We believe fitness is the ability to do whatever you want to do, whenever you want to do it. This can be anything. Fitness has no hierarchy of accomplishment, no rating system. The Courthouse is a group of people, employees and members, who share an excitement for how fun it is to be fit, how fun it is to do stuff. Call it an active life. We call it the best life possible.
TRAIN
Fitness, your fitness, does require some action, but it should not be a chore, something to dread, or simply check off the list. Exercise should be something to look forward to, an opportunity to go someplace energetic and comfortable. A place with lots of smiles and laughter, and people that share your view of life–friends.
Tell us your goals, your background, your likes and dislikes, and let us create an exercise path you will enjoy being on. You may use Group Power or Ride, Centergy or Active. It might include some basketball or swimming. You may find yourself dancing in Zumba. Nutrition or Pilates Training could turn out to be the best way to explore your potential.
And nothing stays in the Courthouse. Your workouts, your time in class, your training sessions, none of it stays and gets stale. It goes with you. Because when you imagine one goal, when you train to reach it, everything else in your life benefits.
DO
The Courthouse is full of people, which means it is full of stories. There are stories of people who have lost weight and gained a whole new life. There are stories of running a first 5K race, a first marathon, or of chasing children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren around the yard. People walk confidently into job interviews and high school reunions. Our members become mentally strong, they hike hills and swim in lakes. They realize what they are capable of. They push themselves and they make the most of every opportunity. They live life more fully.
And here’s the thing about fitness: it does not end. It grows, changes and expands. One goal completed gives way to five more imagined. No longer are you challenged as much as you challenge yourself. You begin to imagine even more. You get creative. You get fearless.
What do you want to do? What do you want your story to be? Imagine it. Train for it. Go do it! We cannot wait to hear the stories you’ll tell.

For one person, fitness could be looking great in a new pair of jeans. For another, it could be skiing all weekend to wake up Monday morning feeling refreshed and energized. And for someone else, it could simply mean getting off medication. The important question is what does fitness mean for you? What do you want to do with your fitness? Whatever it is, we can help you get there.
Getting there, getting fit, is about having fun. Yep, fun. Nobody exercises simply because it is good for them. Not for long, anyway. Certainly not for life. Sure, some willpower is needed at times, but those who approach fitness with only grim determination will eventually quit. We can help you discover again that moving your body can and should be fun.
Our Clubs
There is nothing fun about a dirty gym, and there is nothing dirty about our gyms. Why not exercise somewhere that is as clean and welcoming as your grandmother’s kitchen. Someplace that is close to home with lots of options. Someplace that has been part of the community for 35 years, but has a reputation for cutting edge programs and up-to-date facilities.
Group Exercise
When you think of exercise, if toil or boredom enter your mind at all, you need to try one of our many Group Exercise formats. A group of good folks, some quality tunes, a little sweat, and enough hop-to-it to have you moving, smiling, forgetting that you even came for a workout. That’s “Courthouse Group Ex.”
Nutrition
Eating clean food is no more difficult than eating junk. Courthouse Nutrition will train you to make healthy nutritional decisions and find success by eating normal food you can find at your grocery store.
Courthouse Nutrition is surprisingly simple, but also relies on advanced technology that accurately measures body fat, lean tissue, and metabolic rate. This technology also allows us to measure the internal changes in body composition that a bathroom scale simply cannot.
