You’ve seen Michael Miller in a few of our previous Instagram Inspection posts, and that is because he is amazing at staying engaged with club members and trainers. Every time I talk to him he has a new and fun idea about encouraging people to get active. Give him a high five when you see him around!

Courthouse Zults War
1.This is from a Launch Week last year. It was throwback-themed. We decorated the Group rooms with 80’s records and Brock Photoshopped staff members heads onto classic movie posters. My job was to go around and take pictures. It was awesome to see members and instructors really get into it.

C2V

2. That’s me and Zoomz at last summer’s C2V (Courthouse to Venti’s). Four years ago, Dino Venti, Conrad Venti, and I thought up the event and it’s been fun to put it on and see it grow. We always do wacky stuff, we always have fun, and we always end the night with good beer, good food, and good people. And Zoomz always gets dressed up as Lil Cocky. She loves it.

Michael Miller and Friends

3.My friends and I posing after running the Cascade Lakes Relay. The relay is like Hood to Coast, but goes from Diamond Lake to Bend, about 210 miles. The year before this was taken, we made an ultra team, which means we ran the whole thing with six people, including Drew Miller (my brother, and Zults Czar) and Scott Bushy (Manager at South River Road) instead of the normal 12. During these kinds of events, you always have a small existential crisis sometime around three in the morning and wonder why the heck you’re running what seems like nonstop for two straight days. And then you get to the end and can’t help but smile.

Michael Miller, Lord of the Flies
4.Last summer, my brother and I drove up to Montana to go to his buddy’s wedding. I didn’t know anyone at the wedding, so I found a way to help carve the pig and serve it for dinner. It was a lot better than making small talk with strangers. The guy who was in charge of roasting the pig helped me carve and made sure I got first taste of all of the best pieces.

RCTID
5.This is me and my buddy Brock and his buddy Miguel at a Portland Timbers game last season. I don’t think I’ve had more fun at a professional sporting event in my life. We stood and sang the whole game. The game was a tie and I didn’t care.

Zults War

6.This is a picture of a mug my buddy Andy sent me. Andy is one of my favorite people in the world. When we were thinking of the concept of Zults, we wanted to have a fake spokesperson. So, we asked Andy to shave his beard into a mustache and play Edwin Zults for us. Somehow, he got a hold of the picture and put it on some personalized mugs and sent one to me and one to Brock. The other side of the mug says, “You can do it!”
