Swish Basketball with Cody Crowe

The winter season is upon us and Swish Director Cody Crowe is ready to put a new spin on basketball in the Salem-Keizer area for players currently in the 2nd-8th grade. The mission of Swish is simple: Swish is “where players become leaders”.

Cody and his team are committed to place focus on athletes as individuals, preparing them for success at the high school level.

Each week, teams will participate in a two-hour training clinic in addition to their scheduled team practice, league and tournament play. During these training times, emphasis will be placed, above all else, on the fundamentals of basketball. By focusing on shooting, dribbling, and passing in the clinic setting, athletes will gain skills and confidence throughout the season.

Players will also develop important values that all leaders should have, on and off the basketball court: character, teamwork, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship.

Cody was born and raised in Grants Pass, Oregon where basketball has been a large part of his life. After a successful high school and college career, he is currently a national qualifier on the USA 3-on-3 tournament team and will be traveling to Denver this April to compete.  His coaching experience is extensive, having coached many different age groups over the years. Cody looks forward to working with each athlete that walks into the gym during this upcoming season.

The winter season runs December through February and costs $500 per player which includes the cost of uniforms. Tryouts will be held on Tuesday, November 29th from 6:30-8:pm at the Battle Creek Courthouse, 6250 Commercial St SE. There is a non-refundable fee of $10.00 for tryouts and pre-registration is required. For more information, check out the Swish website, or contact Cody at 503.589.7565
