Let It Begin: Summer 2014 Zults War

Saturday morning marks the official beginning of the Summer 2014 Zults War.

But this Zults War has actually been forming for a while. Instructors have been gathering their teams. Friends who take Power or Core or Club Dance together have been thinking about team names and designing shirts. Individuals who want to form new habits, lose fat, gain lean mass, make a new start and have some fun are ready to accomplish something new and remarkable.

Why do we put on Zults Wars? At first, we simply wanted to combine all of the things we do as a gym and fitness community (group exercise, team training, nutrition, the Bod Pod, community, culture) into a six-week game.

We keep doing Zults Wars because we have seen the results.

During the last Zults War, 285 participants lost 1,689 pounds of fat. More than 50 of those participants lost over 10 pounds of fat each. Practically all of those participants gained at least one pound of lean mass, and the rest kept their lean mass the same. In the world of lifestyle change, these kind of results are almost unheard of.

We love Zults Wars because they work. We also love Zults Wars because they are, at their core, still a game that brings together all the aspects of the Courthouse. And a game, like exercise, is meant to be fun.

Zults Wars prove that a life of clean eating and fit living is not only possible, but pretty enjoyable too.

Zults Wars make it obvious that with clear direction, team support, clean food, and engaging exercise, lasting change is possible for anyone.

We are incredibly excited about the change we are going to see from each and every Zults Warrior this summer.

The first Zults War Bonus Challenge will be at the Commercial Street Fred Meyer this Saturday morning at 9:30am.
