Launch Week: In Review
We had a great Launch Week. We enjoyed the energy. We enjoyed the togetherness, the joy, the goofiness, the prizes, the smiles, the sweat.
We asked some our Instructors about their favorite part or moment from this Launch Week and Blackout Week.
Justen Maron: My favorite part of blackout week was seeing the unity in the clubs. At any club, on any day, the vast majority of the members were in all black. Even when looking out at the cardio deck before classes, the treadmills were mostly blacked out. That was cool. That and Allen Carter being the “step ninja.”
Andrea Downard: More members felt involved this time around. It was exciting to see them excited for Launch Week!
Sarah Kresse: It is pretty awesome to see members getting pumped about their workout…wondering what’s going to be new, and the smiles and high fives after they tackle a new challenge are definitely rewarding as an instructor. Loved the expressions on members faces in the new sprint track in ride and the up downs in CARDIO30–super awesome to see so many hard working faces. And the blackout had all classes looking super sharp and stud-ly.
Allen Carter: The spirit of awesome when people realized we were serious about getting dressed up together. I loved how shocked (and excited) people were when they saw a fully grown man running around in an all black costume and how willing they were to join in the fun.
Jen Roper: My favorite moment from Launch Week was seeing Blackout Man (black suit) make a special guest appearance in our KidStrong class! Nearly every kid was dressed in black, donning fun black-out Courthouse Fitness shades. When Blackout Man arrived to KidStrong, it was like our Launch Week super hero was here to make sure that everyone was having a good time, ensuring that fitness IS fun!
