Launch Week: Day One
Fitness is better together. And during Launch Week, we plan to prove that fact.
This week is Blackout Week. That means we are getting together and wearing all black, all Launch Week. Because it is fun to do stuff together. It is fun to workout together and dress up together. It is fun to move together, to sweat together, to laugh together, to win prizes together, to get fit together.
For Launch Week, we have the Prize Patrol (seen on your right). Today, the Prize Patrol was, yes, giving away prizes. But it was also jumping around the front hall, high-fiving kids as they ran into KidStrong, doing interpretive dances during the balance track of Group Active.
For the first day of Launch Week, people have been enjoying themselves.
But isn’t exercise supposed to be a chore? Isn’t going to the gym something you just check off the list?
We don’t think so. We don’t buy the idea that exercise is merely just good for you. We think that exercise should be fun. That exercise is a chance to do something together, not alone. We believe that exercise is better together.
For Launch Week, we are encouraging people to ask a few questions. Could exercise be more than a chore for me? Could exercise be fun? Could fitness be something I enjoy? Could “fitness together” change the way I see exercise?
We think the answer is definitely yes.
Let us prove it.
